As the TCO Performance Center in Eagan prepares to host offseason workouts for the second consecutive season, the NFL on Monday announced the dates of each team’s offseason training program. According to the league’s communication site, the Vikings will start spring drills on April 15.OTAs, or organized team activities, will take place during three sessions starting in late May. The dates of those workouts are May 21-23, May 28-30 and June 3-6. The team’s mandatory minicamp will take place on June 11-13.

With a complete overhaul of the interior offensive line expected, the Minnesota Vikings aren’t done making moves. The team got things started on Wednesday by signing veteran guard Josh Kline to a three-year deal. Now, the team looks to have set its sights on bringing back an in-house free agent.According to Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, the Vikings have extended a contract offer to offensive lineman Brett Jones. Jones (6-2, 315) was acquired from the New York Giants on Aug. 26th via trade. The Vikings sent the Giants a 2019 7th-round draft pick in exchange for the 27 year-old.

The Minnesota Vikings were given three compensatory picks on Friday, February 22nd. That gives the team eight total selections in the 2019 NFL Draft. Minnesota gained one sixth-round pick and two seventh-rounders.A third-round compensatory pick was supposed to be heading the Vikings way before the Arizona Cardinals released him Nov. 3. Now, with the addition of the 209th overall (6th round), 247th overall (7th round) and 250th overall (7th round) comp picks, the Vikings officially have the following draft capital:

The Arizona Cardinals released former Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford today. While you wouldn’t think that has anything to do with the Minnesota Vikings, you’d be wrong. As a result of Bradford’s release, Minnesota will lose out on what was supposed to be a high-round compensatory draft pick.
