There’s been quite a few changes on the coaching staff since the Vikings’ season ended on Saturday. Kevin Stefanski is now the head coach of the Browns, George Edwards did not have his contract renewed and Jerry Gray has parted ways with the team. All three of them could reportedly join Stefanski in Cleveland along with receivers coach Drew Petzing.

With word coming from ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Vikings tried to trade Anthony Barr before the draft last year, it’s looking even more certain that the two sides will part ways. As of now, no talks of contract extension negotiations have been reported.The Vikings still have two days to apply the franchise tag to the linebacker, which means there’s still a chance Minnesota tries to tag-and-trade Barr, but chances are the team will let him walk and recoup a substantial compensatory draft pick next season.

The Minnesota Vikings on Friday announced the 2019 coaching staff. As expected, Rick Dennison was named the team’s new offensive line coach and Marwan Maalouf was added as the special teams coordinator.

The Minnesota Vikings added a second father/son combo to the coaching staff today. Defensive specialists Mike and Adam Zimmer (linebackers coach) were joined by offensive specialists, Gary and Klint Kubiak. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Vikings on Monday hired Gary Kubiak as an Offensive Advisor and his son, Klint, is expected to take over as QB coach.
