Vikings Players Reactions to Win over BUF

Vikings Players Reactions to Win over BUF

It was the craziest game of football you are ever likely to see. When all was said and done, the Minnesota Vikings did it again. This time it went all the way to overtime, but the Vikings found another way to come from behind and win a close game. This wasn’t like the games that came before, though.

The Vikings went toe-to-toe with the team seen by many as the best in the NFL — and came out on top. It was the statement win everybody was asking from the Vikings, and understandably, excitement was high postgame. Here are some Vikings players’ reactions to a huge win against Buffalo.

Let’s start the ball rolling with some immediate reactions to the win on Twitter.

A great postgame video as Troy Dye walks us back to the locker room.

Patrick Peterson

Since the game against his former team, where he showed up in a big way against the Arizona Cardinals, Patrick Peterson has hit a different groove. He’s been a solid veteran cornerback since landing in Minnesota last year. However, his energy in recent weeks has been off the charts, coinciding with several big plays.

Peterson is a future Hall of Famer, and the opinion was that his best days were behind him, but right now, he is playing lights out for the Vikings. He was at it again in terms of big plays, with two interceptions, including the one that sealed the win for the Vikings. He talked about it after the game, making it sound like the easiest thing in the world.

He was also awarded the “game chains” on the flight home.

Dalvin Cook

Dalvin Cook provided the spark when the Vikings trailed by 27-10 with a huge 81-yard touchdown run. He enjoyed watching it back after the game. He also swapped shirts with his brother after the game.

This game was dubbed “The Cook Off” by the Cook family, as the two brothers faced off for the first time in the NFL. James Cook showed promise in this game, averaging 4-4 yards per carry. However, the older brother had a day to remember, as Dalvin had his biggest game of the season.

Reactions From Others

We finish with Vikings owner Zygi Wilf, who seems to be getting increasingly excited every week. He’s also impressed with the fight his team is showing. A Vikings legend demands respect for the team, too.

Finally, Von Miller recognized that the Bills were beaten by a good team. Recognition by media and fans is one thing. Recognition from a great player for a great team is what a team really wants.

It was an incredible game — one that changed the perception of the 2022 Vikings.
