Mike Zimmer’s Girlfriend is GOING AFTER Rick Spielman on social media right now! ?

Former Vikings general manager Rick Spielman is now on the second lap of his finger pointing tour following his dismissal from the Minnesota Vikings. Having joined the Move The Sticks podcast and The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Spielman has said his piece on the cause for the unraveling of the Minnesota Vikings under his watch.
According to Rick, it was Zimmer who was losing control of the team and it was Zimmer’s rash decisions that made it tough for him to do his job (more on that here).
To date, former head coach Mike Zimmer has laid low. He hasn’t surfaced since departure from the team and hasn’t responded to any of Spielman’s remarks.
But his girlfriend has! ?
After being dormant on Twitter since December of 2020, Katarina Elizabeth Miketin has taken to Twitter this week to defend her beau.
Responding directly to some of the clips of Spielman’s comments on The Herd, Katarina stuck up for Zimmer doing her best to set the record straight, from her and maybe Zimmer’s perspective.
“Rick, how can you build a team when you refuse to talk to the coach and don’t show up?” Miketin said on social media. “You talk a lot to everyone else, just not the ones that mattered when the organization needed unity. YOU caused separation. Your gossip needs to stop. Let’s talk facts.”
In another response post she said, “What about the GM having a relationship with the organization? Not talking to your coach for three months? Rick, back-peddling and ‘spin’ have always been your ‘game’. You should be embarrassed by your media blitz of, ‘it wasn’t my fault.'”
There are a few others where she claimed “it wasn’t the coach”, “there were no scare tactics” and “when your boss won’t talk to you…and isn’t in the building” as well just to serve as some icing on the cake.
Just when you think that this organization has moved on from the drama of the past, you get the juice from a new-found source, one who seems to have an inside source, very close to the situation!
