PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, weโ€™re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in โ€œThe P/PTSD Perspective.โ€ Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: January 10th, 2025

1) Vikings Sign All-Star Defender: Naturally, many will think of stud defensive tackle Jalen Redmond. Seeing the new signing at defensive tackle come close to Redmond will represent a huge win for Minnesota’s front office. Maintaining some healthy skepticism is wise, but the recent add did tear up the CFL.

2) New Report Details Vikings’ Quarterback Plans for the Offseason: Consider a quarterback hierarchy consisting of QB1 J.J. McCarthy, QB2 Max Brosmer, and QB3 John Wolford (the “psycho”). Now consider that same hierarchy but with a strong QB2 shoehorned in, bumping Brosmer and Wolford down a spot. A lot more promising, right?

3) 11 DC Candidates the Vikings Could Consider: Increasingly, the Brian Flores situation feels like one where the sensational coordinator is going to depart to become a head coach. Seeing that possibility become a reality would mean that the DC candidates become ultra important (notably, one top candidate could get hired away).

4) Vikings Coach and QB Get Put on the Spot with Team’s Controversial Question: Who is going to be the starter in 2026? Remains to be seen. All that one gets out of the top people in the Twin Cities is that there’s going to be work alongside praise for the growth that has taken place.

5) Vikings Finally Promote Buried Niche Defender: Soon enough, the Vikings need to embrace a youth movement on defense. Most of the starters are well-established veterans. Of course, the drafting issues haven’t helped, but the point remains: leaning on the young lads needs to arrive at some point soon.
