The Vikings have too many other needs to make a huge WR splash, but it would be nice to have a reliable vet for McCarthy and someone capable of being the second option occasionally. Let’s roll with Keenan Allen as the bold prediction.

2. Tyreek Hill

I think Nailor is a safe pick to be the WR3 for the Vikings in 2025. But let’s get fun with it. The money might be impossible, but the results could be unbelievable if the Vikings bring in Tyreek Hill. That right there would be inarguably the best WR core in the league and might even make Addison the new WR3.

3. A Late-Round Draft Pick

It started as a silent whisper during the spring, but the training camp made every attempt to keep it a secret in vain. The Vikings drafted this rookie WR3 in the late rounds of the 2025 NFL draft. His identity is not yet revealed.

t4. Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp will 100% be released by the Rams. Minnesota is the most likely landing spot. Kupp will be WR3 for the Vikings in 2025.

I choose a bolder choice. Until he’s elsewhere, I still think Cooper Kupp will be WR3. I think Kevin O’Connell will give J.J. McCarthy as many resources as possible to make this offense successful. He finally made his choice at QB, and he won’t let him fail.

The Vikings will make a play for Cooper Kupp to bring him in as WR3!

t5. Jalen Nailor

This is the season for the general manager to make personnel decisions. I personally would invest my “chips” elsewhere, especially the trenches and the secondary. And RB! In other words, Nailor or competition from within for WR3.

I think Jalen Nailor earned his shot to be the cemented WR3 going into the season, as our WR room can’t justify a big free-agent signing or high draft pick. His speed is a perfect complement to the two-headed monster ahead of him.

We should stick with Nailor, but a Thielen or Diggs return wouldn’t be out of the question.
