The P/PTSD Perspective: Playing Cards for a 3rd, Moss Decision, and A Final Move

The P/PTSD Perspective: May 17th, 2025
1) If they Play their Cards Right, Could The Vikings Complete the Triple Play?: Next to no chance that Sam Howell walks into free agency next offseason and lands a deal large enough to kick over a 3rd. There is, however, a small chance that he could earn a contract that’s somewhere in the 4th or 5th range. If so, then the GM will again have done some nice work.
2) It Appears the Vikings Have a Decision on Montigo Moss: The son of the legendary Randy Moss, Montigo Moss got a chance to compete with the Vikings’ drafted and undrafted rookies. Doesn’t look like he’ll stick around, but pretty neat for him to get onto an NFL practice field in the same spot as his father.
3) Vikings Urged to Make 1 Final Move: Everyone has an opinion. But, to be sure, there are some single additions out there who would make the team better. The Vikings, however, aren’t in a major rush. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah likely wants to see more of the offseason competition before doing anything wild.
4) Mere Days into Vikings Career, The New Passer is Already Trash Talking: Don’t misunderstand the nature of the trash talk. Max Brosmer was being playful, not painful. He saw a rival from college and was sure to get in a few words as they then began working on improving their game on the same practice field.
5) Vikings Reportedly Sign 4 New Players: The GM was very efficient when moving through his draft class. Of course, it’s helpful to only be dealing with five players, but that doesn’t change the basic reality: Adofo-Mensah got the draft class under contract quickly. He may now look toward adjusting some deals in an effort to carve out future cap space.
