The P/PTSD Perspective: Heartfelt QB2 Reunion, Front Office Shrugs, and Bears Signing Vikings

PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: April 12th, 2025

1) Vikings’ QB2 Signing Could be a Heartfelt Reunion: Bringing Teddy Two Gloves (does anyone call him that anymore?) back to the Twin Cities would be exciting. He would be a tremendous backup, offering first-rate leadership and work ethic. J.J. McCarthy could learn a ton from Mr. Bridgewater.

2) As the Problem Worsens, the Vikings’ Front Office Basically Shrugs: Don’t misunderstand the meaning of the word “shrug.” The Vikings’ front office isn’t indifferent; far from it, in fact. Rather, there’s no sense of panic as more backup passers get scooped up.

3) Bears Grab Second Former Vikings Player in 6 Days: Chicago is still working through their rebuild. Having Caleb Williams in town alongside a new head coach in Ben Johnson inspires a lot of optimism. Patching up roster holes with depth players makes a lot of sense.

4) Vikings Release Last Year’s Trade Acquisition After 241 Days: All things considered, it was a short-lived Vikings career for Mr. Wright. The upside is that he’s still young, has good speed, and is super long. Maybe his next chance will be the one where he can settle in and start to fulfill some of his potential.

5) A Vikings Free Agent Finally Appears in the Headlines: A capable corner, Shaq Griffin seems likely to see his market heat up following the draft. He offers good size and has plenty of experience. He would slide in nicely as a team’s CB3/4 who can jump into a larger role if an injury occurs.
