PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: February 1st, 2025

1) Ex-Vikings Coach Gets Seahawks Job Over Current Vikings Coach: The coaching craziness after the season ends can be quite chaotic. There are tons of interviews taking place and all kinds of shuffling. So far, it looks like Minnesota is doing pretty well at keeping their own coaches in the Twin Cities.

2) Brian Flores’ 2025 Team Slowly Comes to Light: Brian Flores is capable of being a strong head coach. He has proven to be excellent as a defensive coordinator. Does the 2026 cycle of interviews lead to the aggressive coach getting another shot to lead a team?

3) Vikings Tight End Joins Eagles for Playoff Run: The most recent word is that he has since been let go. Nick Muse was brought to Minnesota as part of the now infamously bad 2022 draft crew. Decent chance his days in Minnesota are done, but it’s possible he sticks around on a new deal now that he’s available again.

4) A Huge Trade Target for the Vikings to Consider: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah hasn’t been able to fully figure out the defensive tackle position. Yes, Harrison Phillips was a nice add — plus Jalen Redmond has upside — but the solutions so far (Ross Blacklock, Dean Lowry, Esezi Otomewo, Jerry Tillery) haven’t really been solutions.

5) Vikings Coach Emerges as Bears Coordinator Candidate: Seems a bit counterintuitive to fans — division rivalry and such — but it makes some sense for coaches from within the same division to give others a shot. Playing against each other with regularity means knowing each other reasonably well. How much success does Ben Johnson have as the Bears’ new top coach?
