The P/PTSD Perspective: Rare Brian Flores Feat, Rethink the Plan, and Jerry Jones on MIN’s QB1

PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, weโre promoting five of their top articles of the past week in โThe P/PTSD Perspective.โ Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: December 20th, 2025
1) Something Rare is Happening with the Vikings Defense: Brian Flores deserves a ton of credit. Even with a largely inept offense (until recently) and several of his individual players taking a step back, Coach Flores has constructed a reasonably strong group. Just no way the NFL offers 32 coaches who are better than him.

2) Vikings Should Rethink One Guy’s Offseason Plan: When it comes to Minnesota paying a WR3 — an option some think is wise — I’ll believe it when I see it. GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has shown very little willingness to send out money for a third receiver. As a result, there’s room for reasonable doubt.
3) Jerry Jones Weighed in on J.J. McCarthy After Sunday Night: The opinion nobody wanted: Jerry Jones offered his assessment of J.J. McCarthy. Seldom does the billionaire who owns the Cowboys lack for an opinion. He offered it. Go ahead and read if you feel so inclined.

4) Vikings Found an “Essential Building Block:” The 2025 regular season — just three games remain — is all about building for the future. So, finding some key players while pushing them toward improvement is vital. Partnering youth and ability is what it’s all about. Even better is if the finances are modest.
5) The Vikings’ Money Situation Grows Worse as ’26 Nears: There’s going to be solutions. But the mess is going to get messier. Adofo-Mensah will need to pull several levers to get the finances back in shape. I anticipate Minnesota having around $20-$30 million in open room for 2026.

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
