The Coaching Carousel Spins while the SB Teams are Set
Vikings Territory Breakdown Podcast
It has begun. Like moving pieces on a chess board, the personnel around the NFL is headlong into the second week of transition while the final two teams are prepping for the big game. The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will return to the Super Bowl and will try to defeat the NFC champ Philadelphia Eagles to earn the first three-peat in NFL history during the Super Bowl era.
But that has little to do with the Minnesota Vikings. As coaching vacancies are filling around the league, members of the Vikings team and coaching staff are busy acquiring awards or being named finalists for them. In addition, Vikings right tackle Brian O’Neill was named to the Pro Bowl, replacing the Eagle’s Lane Johnson, who will playing in the Super Bowl. O’Neill joins six of his teammates in the Pro Bowl, which will be exceedingly purple when it takes place on Sunday in Orlando.
While there won’t be any predictions about who will win the Pro Bowl (and our Super Bowl picks will take place next week) the fellas at Vikings Territory Breakdown podcast—Joe Oberle, senior writer at vikingsterritory.com and purplePTSD.com and Mark Craig, NFL and Vikings writer for the Star Tribune and startribune.com are on hand to talk about everything Vikings and the NFL. Tune in and check it out. Skol!!!!!
