NFL Draft 2024—What will the Vikings Do?

Vikings Territory Breakdown Podcast

The NFL Draft has arrived and the Vikings currently have two picks in the opening round—conducted Day 1 on Thursday. Does the Vikings GM Kwesi Adolfo-Mensah trade up with those picks to snare a young quarterback of the future for the team? Does he stand pat and grad a QB later? Does he solidify the defense with two decent 1st day picks? All these questions have been pondered by countless draft experts for months and now the day will finally arrived.

So we needed a draft expert of our own to weigh in on what the Purple will do. Former Vikings and Tennessee Titans general manager Jeff Diamond joins the fellas at the Vikings Territory Breakdown podcast (Joe Oberle, senior writer at vikingsterritory.com and purplePTSD.com and Mark Craig, NFL and Vikings writer for the Star Tribune and startribune.com) to break it all down.

Diamond, who works for the 33rd Team website, flies around the country speaking, recruits players for IFA group headed by Blake Baratz (which represents Adam Thielen and C.J. Ham) and has written for Vikings Territory, is on top of all the comings and goings in the NFL, particularly at this time of the year.

You will want to tune into the VT Breakdown podcast to see how Diamond thinks the Vikings did in free agency, what he believes the Vikings will do with their bevy of first-round draft picks, his thoughts on the latest news surrounding wide receiver Justin Jefferson not showing up for voluntary workouts and what he thinks GM Kwesi is going through right about now. Jeff has been in that seat, and he likely knows the temperature of it about now. Check out the VT Breakdown podcast and find out.
