PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: May 25th, 2024

1) 3 Potential Surprise Vikings Roster Cuts: Every year, there are surprises once the roster gets trimmed down. One thinks of Armon Watts a couple of seasons ago as someone who got cut even though most thought he had a fairly large role to play. Any unforeseen cuts upcoming?

2) An Ode to Harrison Smith: Somehow, the legend continues growing for The Hitman. Listen to the coaches speak about the veteran safety; respect oozes out of their words. Teammates, too, hold Smith in high regard. Does he make the Hall of Fame?

3) Ex-Vikings QB Kirk Cousins Gets Honest about Return to Play Minnesota as a Foe: By Week 14, the conversation around the NFL is going to be dominated by who is getting into the postseason and who is trying to sneak in at the last minute. To be sure, there’s going to be no shortage of attention paid to Cousins’ return.

4) 8 Vikings Starters Who Need to be Replaced in 2024 and Candidates for Each Role: Keep in mind that Mr. Frey isn’t talking about a youngster displacing a veteran by leaping up the depth chart. Rather, Mr. Frey is merely discussing the open spots on the roster from starters who departed in free agency. Lots of change in Minnesota.

5) The Vikings Schedule Holds 3 Surprises: No doubt, the 2024 schedule has its challenges for Minnesota. The opening week doesn’t look overly formidable but there was a similar rationale last season with the Bucs. In the end, the Vikings will need to be sharp if they’re going to get back into the postseason.
