The Seattle Seahawks downed the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night, 24-13, after the Vikings string of third-teamers failed to maintain an early lead.

Minnesota lost all three preseason games in 2022 and later won the NFC North with a 13-4 record.

The Top Photos from Vikings 1st Preseason Game

VikingsTerritory already published snap reactions, surprises, takeaways, and ‘losers‘ from the event, so now let’s have a look at the best photos from the first preseason party of 2023.

7. HC and the OPOY

Justin Jefferson didn’t play Thursday night — a wise decision — but he and Kevin O’Connell were snapped before the festivities began.

6. Andre Carter II in a Vikings Uni

This undrafted free agent first hit the Physically Unable to Perform list a few weeks ago, but now he’s back — and battling for a 53-man roster spot.

5. Last Year’s Rookie and This Year’s Rookie

Mekhi Blackmon (left) produced a decent first-ever outing, while Andrew Booth (right) struggled. The two were captured in this photo at Lumen Field.

4. Jaren Hall Unloads

This 5th-Round rookie quarterback was under siege for most of the second half, so at least he could show off his in-the-pocket and out-of-the-pocket wheels. Hall didn’t do much in two quarters, but such is life for a late-round lottery-ticket prospect.

3. Jay Ward Brings the Heat

Another rookie, safety Jay Ward notched five tackles and should be a safe bet for the 53-man roster shave-down on August 29th.

2. Ty Chandler Dances Outside for a Gain

Perhaps the Vikings keynote performer at Seattle. Chandler tabulated 70 yards from scrimmage and made his case for the RB2 job, a gig currently held by KR-RB Kene Nwangwu. Chandler looked solid and like a bonafide RB2.

1. The One and Only TD

The bombastic Nick Muse, a second-year tight end, grabbed the Vikings only touchdown on a pass from QB2 Nick Mullens. He then hit the Griddy, and the Vikings curiously stopped scoring touchdowns.
