Vikings Territory Breakdown: Winter is Over for the Purple

Time to Start Becoming Kings of the North

Some of the 2022 Minnesota Vikings players came out of hibernation this week and spoke to the media. They assembled at TCO Performance Center and got to meet their new coaching staff and become acquainted with the new offense and defense they will be using. It was all smiles and kumbaya as the players appeared to be crawling out of the long winter of last season and are excited and hopeful for new beginnings.

Kirk Cousins says he wants to retire a Viking (just not yet, to the chagrin of some); Adam Thielen likes the new feel of the more feel-nature of the offense; Justin Jefferson likes what he sees from other wide receivers’ new contracts from around the league; and Dalvin Cook is changing to Brett Favre’s number. These folks spoke, so Mark Craig from the Star Tribune and Joe Oberle from VikingsTerritory.com spoke about what they had to say on the Viking Territory Breakdown Podcast. Tune in and check it out.
