Since leaving the Minnesota Vikings in January, former general manager Rick Spielman has really let his hair down.

He’s joined numerous shows and podcasts, softly implying some soured Vikings relations toward the end of his tenure. Spielman has also explained “why he did what he did” during some Vikings drafts and such. And then, during the lead-up to the 2022 NFL Draft, Spielman gushed over quarterback Malik Willis, who was drafted in the 3rd Round by the Tennessee Titans.

Spielman even made a TikTok video about Willis’ scouting report, which appeared to be in someone’s garage or storage facility.

Well, the TikTok dabblings weren’t reserved for just football-themed matters. On Monday, Spielman appeared to post a video of his dance moves.

Spielman’s full TikTok profile can be experienced here.

The Vikings hired Spielman shortly after the NFL draft in 2006, partnering the executive with the then-new Brad Childress regime. Childress lasted 4.5 seasons with the Vikings, leading the team to the 2009 NFC Championship appearance. After that, Spielman hired Leslie Fraizer for a few years and the most recent head coach, Mike Zimmer, in 2014.

Minnesota notably drafted high-flying talents on Spielman’s watch like Adrian Peterson, Harrison Smith, Justin Jefferson, Stefon Diggs, Everson Griffen, Eric Kendricks, Anthony Barr, Dalvin Cook, and Adam Thielen (UDFA). There were also some stinkers with Christian Ponder, Laquon Treadwell, and Matt Kalil.

The Vikings settled for mediocrity amid the last two seasons, achieving a 15-18 record from 2020 to 2021. And those seasons were billed as “all in” with Super-Bowl-or-bust stakes, so Spielman didn’t quite survive this year’s GM and coaching carousel. Replacing Spielman, Minnesota hired Kwesi Adofo-Mensah from the Cleveland Browns — who tapped Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell for head coaching duties.

Spielman reportedly interviewed for the vacant Pittsburgh Steelers general manager job in March.

Regardless of possibly landing the Steelers gig, the TikTok side of his business profile is new, as fans get to see a different side of the 59-year-old.
