Judd, who played college football at Western Illinois, attended the team’s rookie minicamp in May. He also received an invite to the New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp. Judd was a FCS third-team All-American for the Leathernecks in 2017, helping the offense finish among the nation’s top 20 in team passing efficiency, red zone offense, and scoring offense. The Clinton, Iowa native is listed at 6-foot-3, 303 pounds.
With Pat Elflein on the PUP list, Cornelius Edison has been starting at center for the Vikings with J.P. Quinn as backup. Judd was added for depth.
Following the signing of Judd, the Vikings have two roster spots vacant after the team added OL Kareem Are and FB Kobe McCrary yesterday.
