By the time the Vikings held their press conference last night to inrotude newly acquired receiver Greg Jennings it had already been reported that he would wear #15, his number from his college days.
Still, strangely absent from the introduction was the obligatory jersey presentation that normally takes place when a big name player joins a new team.
Speculation has been growing all offseason that the Vikings would be getting new uniforms in 2013, and this could be the best evidence yet that something is in the works to update the oft-criticized uniforms they currently wear. The Vikings also updated their Norseman logo earlier in the offseason.

I sure hope they go back to the throwback, or make it darker purple. A change is needed.

I just got an email from the Vikings Fan Shop to "Pre-Order" a Jennings jersey, which won't be available until the end of April. They also show a picture that is only the name and number of a jersey. These seem to me to indicate new jerseys as well...
I also think with the new logo they will roll with new uniforms as well.

Cant wait to see the new uniforms, ive heard that were going old school. I love the vikings throwback we would wear last year against division teams at home. the one ponder was wearing during his first start.

My fear is that they will get even worse. Some Nike exec will take the Viking marketing dept. to Manny's and the next thing you know we are the NFL version of Oregon.
Some of those Ducks uniforms are pretty spiffy though!
I hope we go back in history and find something along those lines.
New Jerseys are needed. Too bad I just got one though. Hopefully it doesn't look outdated when I where next season.
This style was around for a while, Wear it it's still a Vikings jersey and that is a Good thing :)
As for the new uniforms I also hope very badly the remove the yellow color around the neck. that was simply terrible and looked like a toilet with pee all over.
