The Minnesota Vikings continue to stay active during the latter portion of free agency this offseason. Recently the team signed offensive linemen Josh Kline and Dakota Dozier and also picked up former AAF defensive backs Derron Smith and Duke Thomas. Today, news broke that they will be signing quarterback Sean Mannion. Even so, it appears they’re still not done adding.
The Minnesota Vikings, needing some help at quarterback after losing 2018 backup Trevor Siemian in free agency, added some depth to the position on Sunday. According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the team will sign free agent Sean Mannion, who had visited the team earlier in the week.
The Minnesota Vikings were given three compensatory picks on Friday, February 22nd. That gives the team eight total selections in the 2019 NFL Draft. Minnesota gained one sixth-round pick and two seventh-rounders.A third-round compensatory pick was supposed to be heading the Vikings way before the Arizona Cardinals released him Nov. 3.
