Every so often, Vikings Territory gets an opportunity to jump into the Vikings coverage in a more robust manner. The upcoming Vikings draft effort will represent one of those opportunities.

I’ll be fortunate to be in the Twin Cities to cover the draft on behalf of VT. Doing so will be with an effort to better glean insight and understanding about Minnesota’s roster building effort under the leadership of Rob Brzezinski and Kevin O’Connell. Oh, and chatting with the drafted players will be similarly important.

The Vikings Draft & VT’s Press Access

Our desire is to serve our reader with great Vikings content. Doing so with access will mean venturing into the pressers with professional curiosity.

In an ideal world, that level of curiosity can lead to some questions that help to crack the nut to see what’s inside. Put differently, the hope is to offer questions that help prompt insightful, fascinating answers. The goal involves getting a better understanding of the current iteration of the Minnesota Vikings and the players being chosen.

Minnesota is sitting atop nine picks going into the event. Rumors exist for adding more. The roster demonstrates ample need for youthful reinforcements. So, seeing the decisions unfold will be of some interest for fan and writer alike.

Being there for the press conferences can hopefully lead to better, more robust insight about the people involved in building the roster. New, fresh analysis of the Vikings draftees, decision makers, and so on is the ongoing goal.

With our thanks to the Vikings organization and to the readership. Keep swinging by Vikings Territory (and PurplePTSD) in the coming days for a hearty helping of Vikings draft coverage.
