Jauan Jennings Immediately Understands the Assignment

There are a lot of teams in the NFL that wish they had a two-wide duo on the outside. Not only do the Minnesota Vikings have that in Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, but the latter would be a top-tier wideout on more than half of the teams across the league.
You can certainly have reservations about Addison’s maturity and whether or not he’ll get in his own way, but the talent is undeniable. That’s why, when the Vikings were able to pair Jauan Jennings with their returning duo this offseason, it seemed like an embarrassment of riches.
Jennings Knows Exactly Where He Fits with the Vikings
Plenty of teams were coming for Jennings, and they should have been. The former San Francisco 49ers wideout has long been among the best secondary options in the league, and he was available on the open market.

While the Vikings had other needs, they opted to supplement the offense in a way we haven’t seen since they went three deep.
No real Minnesota Vikings fan will ever forget how prolific the trio of Cris Carter, Randy Moss, and Jake Reed was for the offense. Two of those three are now in the Hall of Fame, and Reed had a significantly decorated career on his own.
The career accolades for the current trio are yet to be determined, but the athleticism and talent of that group could certainly match the best in franchise history. Jennings understands the talent he is now playing alongside, and it’s hard not to be excited about that group.

Jennings has never reached 1,000 yards in a single season, and it’s unlikely he does so in this campaign. He could combine to create the greatest single-season receiver group the league has ever seen, though, and if Kyler Murray works out, there’s a lot of fun to be had.
