My favorite moment was finding out the Vikings signed Will Fries, with a big reason being all the good signings that came before it. The Vikings addressed every big need and are not settling at all!

2. Nothing into Something on Tuesday Morning

I woke up at 4:00 am on Tuesday, and there was nothing. Fell back asleep and checked again at 7:30 am, and the world had changed. Glorious.

3. Signing Jonathan Allen (DT)

If you asked which of the new Vikings I coveted the most before free agency, it would have been Jonathan Allen. When he came in and didn’t sign until the next morning, I was sweating that out and relieved when he did. He is like a man amongst boys, and I believe big men play well into their 30s. He is the kind of player we lacked last year.

4. The OL Additions

OL signings have been my favorite! Not only did we sign leaders, but BIG DUDES!! Kelly was my hell yes moment! Bradbury was a necessary cut, as much as I like him as a person.

For me, it has to be the signing of Ryan Kelly. To go from watching Garret Bradbury get forklifted into the QB for a few years now — to having one of the better centers in the league is going to do wonders for this line both for the rush and pass. Pair that with his partner, Will Fries, on a long-term deal, and we could be looking at one of the best offensive lines in the league!

t5. Signing Ryan Kelly

For me, who played Center in high school football, it was paramount to upgrade from Bradbury. Seeing Ryan Kelly’s name filled me with such joy. The center is the quarterback of the offensive line! Skol!

This is an easy one for me: Tuesday, when they signed Allen — and then the Pelissero report said the Vikings aren’t done yet, agreeing to sign Hargrave when he’s released. DT has been my most important need and that moment was pure bliss, lol. Fries was a close second, though.

The moment my X app finally updated, I saw fans celebrating Will Fries. Then I saw the Javon Hargrave signed within a minute. Too much winning, Kwesi.
