Dustin Baker’s Vikings Mock Draft 2.0 | 2025
The Minnesota Vikings have just four picks heading into the 2025 NFL Draft. General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah sold ample draft capital on the pick that fetched outside linebacker Dallas Turner in last year’s draft.
Dustin Baker’s Vikings Mock Draft 2.0 | 2025
Minnesota needs cornerbacks, interior offensive linemen, interior defensive linemen, and perhaps a running back and safety this offseason.
So, here’s the best stab at a predictive mock draft — the second edition — for the 2025 Vikings. Version 1.0 can be read here.
Trade!

To kick off the festivities, we predict a Vikings trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team that furnished the Dallas Turner trade last year.
Vikings Get:
2nd-Rounder (Pick 36)
3rd-Rounder (Pick 88)
4th-Rounder (Pick 125)
Jaguars Get:
1st-Rounder (Pick 24)
Round 2 | Pick 36
Shavon Revel Jr. (CB)

College = East Carolina
Revel Jr. tore his ACL last fall, which will cause his otherwise Top-20 draft stock to tumble in April.
Well, the Vikings, a team entering the offseason with cornerback as its emergency need, will benefit, grabbing Revel Jr. in Round 2 after the fancy trade with Jacksonville.
A cornerback room for 2025 will look something like this after free agency:
- Byron Murphy Jr.
- Paulson Adebo
- Shavon Revel Jr.
- Mekhi Blackmon
- Dwight McGlothern
Round 3 | Pick 88
Quinshon Judkins (RB)

College = Ohio State
Aaron Jones will probably be back for another run, but Minnesota also needs a young runner for the future.
Here, that’s Judkins, who played wonderfully in the National Championship. Minnesota will showcase an RB room with Aaron Jones, Quinshon Judkins, and Cam Akers.
Judkins’ only weakness is elite speed; he does everything else tremendously.
Round 3 | Pick 97
Jamaree Caldwell (DT)

College = Oregon
Caldwell is a larger defensive tackle at 6’2″ and 330 pounds. As an NFLer learning his way, he’ll be more of a run stuffer who can eventually blossom into a pass-rushing threat. He also has scheme versatility so that when Brian Flores accepts a head coaching job in the future, Caldwell won’t suffer.
Round 4 | Pick 125
Jared Wilson (C)

College = Georgia
Late-round draft selections are lottery tickets, but if Minnesota is serious about improving the interior offensive line, why not Wilson from Georgia?
Garrett Bradbury may or may not be back in 2025, and if Minnesota loses out or doesn’t enter the Drew Dalman free-agent sweepstakes, Wilson can join the purple team’s roster and perhaps become a late-round offensive line steal that other teams always seem to discover.
Round 5 | Pick 138
Ricky White III (WR)

College = UNLV
Minnesota will embark on 2025 with Jalen Nailor at WR3, but the franchise should take a flyer on a late-round wideout like White.
White is a playmaker at heart and fills special team duties as well. He’ll be the Vikings’ Swiss army utility on offense.
Round 5 | Pick 159
Sebastian Castro (S)

College = Iowa
Folks won’t be thrilled about Castro’s age — he’ll be 25 as a rookie — but he’ll bring violence to the back end of Flores’ defense.
Minnesota might need safety help if Harrison Smith retires or Camryn Bynum leaves in free agency, and Castro can shore up depth.
