PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: May 24th, 2025

1) A Specific Viking Wants Off the Rollercoaster: Ryan Kelly wants off the QB chaos rollercoaster. He has seen a lot in his career but he hasn’t seen QB stability. Ideally, the Vikings can provide that moving forward with the ascension of J.J. McCarthy to the QB1 throne.

2) Undrafted Vikings Rookie Quickly Shows He’s Worth Keeping an Eye On: One of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s great virtues as a GM rests in his willingness to get his elbows up when snagging undrafted talent. There’s a yearly batch of youngsters who inspire optimism, many of whom stick around on either the roster or practice squad.

3) Vikings Quietly Made the New Deal Official: Getting Donovan Jackson under contract means that the full draft class is finished off. It helps, of course, to only be dealing with five players, the lowest amount of picked players in the GM’s four drafts. Nevertheless, all of the business is done, clearing up any lingering distractions as it relates to the draftees putting pen to paper.

4) Greg Joseph Lands a New Role: Good for him. Have always been impressed with the manner in which Joseph approaches his job. Yes, there were issues with being inconsistent, but he could step up in the clutch and didn’t shy away from taking responsibility when he made a mistake. A good pro.

5) It Turns Out the Vikings Have a Best-Kept Secret: Outside of Minnesota, there probably isn’t too much hype for Jalen Nailor. The WR3 is an explosive option who has a knack for bringing the ball across the goal line. Decent chance, though, that he’s moving into the final season as a Viking.
