The P/PTSD Perspective: Sliver of QB Doubt, Vikings’ Strategy Spilled, and Roster Add

PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: June 14th, 2025
1) In a Single Swoop, Vikings Star Spills the Beans While Opening a Sliver of Doubt: Justin Jefferson gets at the issue in a very direct manner. The WR1 knows who the QB1 is. J.J. McCarthy is atop the depth chart and working on building a strong rapport with Jefferson (just as Jefferson is working on building a relationship with the quarterback). There is a quick verbal blip, though, that does raise a bit of doubt.

2) Reporter Spills the Beans on Vikings’ Strategy for Near Future: Lots of bean spilling lately. A lot of the offseason has been about equipping the coaches with the roster to pursue different strategies. Both of Kevin O’Connell and Brian Flores should be capable of doing things that they couldn’t a season ago.
3) Vikings Sign 1 Player, Release Another: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has gotten through the busiest portion of his calendar, but that doesn’t mean the GM doesn’t have more work to do. The tough part is that a roster is now a zero-sum game. Adding someone means subtracting someone.

4) Vikings Made 4th Best “Move” in NFL This Offseason: The Vikings made a ton of important decisions in recent months. A personal list of the best trio? Extending Theo Jackson, signing Javon Hargrave, and trading for Jordan Mason. All three of those players could shine.
5) The Vikings May Have Just Snagged Another Draft Pick: Enjoy the comp picks while you can get ’em. Next year, the Vikings’ chances of landing more compensatory selections appears quite small. So, enjoy the added picks going into the 2026 NFL Draft.

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
