PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: July 26th, 2025

1) Vikings Could Reunite Star with His College Wingman: Truth be told, the signing doesn’t make a pile of sense. An injury could change the calculus but if everyone remains healthy, then going young and cheap at TE3 appears to be the way to go. T.J. Hockenson and Josh Oliver are going to get leaned on a ton.

2) Adam Thielen Updates His J.J. McCarthy Verdict: Mr. Thielen never strays too far from the Minnesota Vikings. He did a bit of work with the team’s new QB1. Maybe unsurprisingly, some positive reports were then passed along by the receiver who has seen a thing or two in his time in the NFL.

3) 2 Vikings Rookies Have a Rocky Career Start: Injuries are an all-too-real part of the game of football. Discouraging? Without question. The final word for these players’ careers? By no means. One thinks of Gabriel Murphy last year working back from injury to get onto the active roster as just one example.

4) Major Christian Darrisaw News Just In: Simply no replacing someone so talented. Justin Skule appears likely to do a nice job if he were to be needed, but Darrisaw exists in a different realm. Genuinely, he’s among the game’s foremost offensive tackles.

5) Kevin O’Connell Foresees Huge Role for Speedster: Kevin O’Connell is an optimist by nature. Even still, there appears to be some good reason to be similarly optimistic about what Speedy can accomplish in his fourth NFL season.
