PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, weโ€™re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in โ€œThe P/PTSD Perspective.โ€ Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: September 6th, 2025

1) Vikings Receiver’s Big Chance Just Vanished: The NFL is seldom a workplace where job security is ironclad. Rather, a person’s professional outlook can change in an instant. Jalen Nailor isn’t doomed to have a poor season, but the addition of Adam Thielen changes things.

2) Vikings Starter Predicted to Have His Job Stolen in 2025: Best guess is simply that Aaron Jones — a tremendous veteran — maintains the top spot. However, seeing Jordan Mason earn more touches wouldn’t be surprising. Younger and larger, Mr. Mason may end up being a key facet of Kevin O’Connell’s offense.

3) Vikings Already Shuffle Bullpen, Promote 1 Player While Demoting Another: Myles Price has looked promising for a little while. Nevertheless, it’s notable enough that he is both the PR1 and the KR1. The rookie UDFA is going to have multiple changes per week to do something special.

4) Former Vikings Draft Bust Has Clinched a Starting Job: In some ways, the development isn’t a surprise. Houston did, after all, send over a draft pick to snag the lineman. One does wonder, though, about leaning on Ed Ingram to protect C.J. Stroud. Any chance that the QB gets hit more often than the coaching staff would like as a result of the Texans’ o-line?

5) Las Vegas is the Next Stop for Departed Vikings Pick: The linebacker hasn’t had the perfect start to his career. He’s smaller, which works against him. He is quite fast, which works in his favor. Best guess is that he ends up being primarily a specialist for his career but he’s still young.
