PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: May 10th, 2025

1) Turns Out, the Vikings’ QB Room Stinks: Well, that remains to be seen, doesn’t it? Gotta step onto the field and let the purple passers show what they’re capable of doing. Only then can we determine whether the QB spot is strong enough for Minnesota to be real contenders. The good news is that J.J. McCarthy is healthy and moving forward as the top passer.

2) Adam Thielen Spills the Beans: Mr. Thielen still has a lot of fans in Minnesota. The hometown kid lived the dream by eventually playing for his Vikings, turning himself into a strong WR1/WR2 in the process.

3) Brian O’Neill Sends Along a Message that the Vikings’ Coaching Staff Needs to Heed: The right tackle thinks it’s time to shift into pushing the offense to whatever extreme necessary to grab wins. Can you blame him? The veteran has been in the NFL for a long time and wants a ring. Best to hear what he’s saying and proceed accordingly.

to Spell Absolute Doom

4) Vikings Rookie Earns “Instant Impact” Label: In all likelihood, the lone rookie who is going to step into a prominent role in his rookie season is Donovan Jackson. Seeing him thrive early as the LG1 would be a win. But, to be sure, getting occasional help from the other four — Tai Felton, Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, Kobe King, and Gavin Bartholomew — isn’t out of the realm of possibility.

5) Vikings Named Top Spot for Veteran Free Agent: For the most part, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has done his work. Free agency is mostly done and the draft (plus the UDFA craziness) is now behind us. A GM’s job, though, is never fully over. Expect the team to constantly be considering their options for improvement.
