PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: March 15th, 2025

1) One of Kevin O’Connell’s Favorite Players Just Said Goodbye to the Vikings: Go back and listen to Kevin O’Connell talk about Johnny Mundt. The head coach isn’t shy about expressing how much he likes the depth tight end. Seeing him leave must have stung a bit.

2) Kwesi Adofo-Mensah Signing Comes Out of Left Field: Leave it to the GM to search high and low for talent. The addition helps to bolster the depth within the secondary but one wonders if the real hope is to have signed someone who can be a terror on special teams. Good size and speed combo.

3) Vikings Entered a Six-Team Bidding War and Won: Apparently, the GM wouldn’t be beat. Part of the benefit of having so much cap space is the ability to box out other teams for a coveted player. The attention now turns to that player living up to his contract.

4) Departed Vikings Coach Takes 2 Players with Him: Makes a lot of sense. Grant Udinski is now serving as one of the main coaches in Jacksonville, so he wisely snatched a pair of great depth pieces to push the Jaguars a bit further. Tough losses for MIN, nice additions for JAX.

5) Vikings Insider Relays a New Name for Vikings’ QB Opening: Without question, there needs to be more quarterback depth. J.J. McCarthy has demonstrated ample promise but promise is different from proof. A proven veteran makes a ton of sense. Who will it be?
