PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: April 5, 2025

1) Vikings Had a Long Meeting with a “Violent” Defender: Brian Flores’ defense has received quite a bit of help in free agency. Most notably, there have been some major additions at defensive tackle. But, to be sure, the coordinator would welcome more upgrades. Maybe the player who had a long meeting with Minnesota will become a Viking at some point from April 24th to 26th.

2) Vikings Eye Another Swiss Army Knife for Brian Flores: Coach Flores is known for at least a few things. Start off with being aggressive and then toss in being an innovative thinker. Bringing those two attributes together is a cluster of players who can be versatile, allowing the DC to be unpredictable on a play-by-play basis.

3) Case Keenum Returns to the NFC North: Any magic left in Mr. Keenum’s arm? Without any sense of exaggeration, Keenum helped to put together one of the great moments in NFL playoff history. Seeing him return to the NFC North is both exciting and a bit worrisome for Minnesota, perhaps.

4) The Vikings Picked Up a “Mauling” and “Finisher-Type Player”: Getting a bit more rugged along the interior of the offensive line would be a welcome development in the Twin Cities. For several years, Minnesota’s approach has been to build a super athletic offensive line. That approach has its appeal, but there were often struggles in pass pro. Being a bit more nasty will help.

5) Looks Like 1 Vikings Newcomer Isn’t Promised a Roster Spot: Wait for the financial details to get released and then we all get a lot more clarity. Folks, we’re talking about the NFL. The money always tells the truth. The newcomer will need to earn a roster spot.
