PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: May 31st, 2025

1) Vikings Legend Offers to Mentor the Rookie: Donovan Jackson has been generating plenty of hype. If the Vikings legend can help to push the No. 24 selection even a tiny bit higher, then the relationship will be more than worth it. The Vikings are long overdue for having an excellent offensive line.

2) Vikings’ UDFA Got a Sweet Stack of Cash to Come to Minnesota: Basically an annual tradition at this stage. The draft concludes and then Kwesi Adofo-Mensah drains the ATM to bring in some of the best talent that’s leftover. Any chance the corner earns a spot on the 53-man roster?

3) Former Vikings’ Pass Rusher Makes a Bold Claim: Good to see that Pat Jones is feeling confident. His best season arrived at the right time: just ahead of free agency. He’s now working on a medium-sized deal that represents a nice raise over his previous pay within his rookie contract. Nothing but well wishes for the pass rusher.

4) The Power of a New Viking is Already Turning Heads: Minnesota signed the large lad at right guard for precisely these abilities. The Vikings are looking to become a meaner, tougher football team. Will Fries will be key to the new approach.

5) Vikings All But Confirm Christian Darrisaw’s Replacement: When Darrisaw went down with an injury last season, the Vikings opted to trade for a new left tackle — Cam Robinson — rather than elevate David Quessenberry. That said something. The decision to go sign Justin Skule in free agency reconfirmed what got communicated during the season.
