PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: April 26th, 2025

1) The Kirk Cousins Saga Took a New Turn on Monday: In Minnesota, Kirk Cousins is the gift that keeps on giving. He just keeps popping up in the Vikings news. What does the future hold for the embattled passer?

2) Vikings Predicted to Trade for ‘Freak of Nature’ in Draft: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has demonstrated an affinity for draft trades. He has similarly demonstrated a desire to add players with exceptional athletic ability (Dallas Turner, for instance). The RD1 result ended up being guard Donovan Jackson.

3) A Vikings’ QB2 Candidate Reportedly Hit the Market: Any sense at all that those who follow the Vikings don’t have full confidence in Brett Rypien as the QB2? The GM has confirmed that there does need to be more depth at the position, but it remains to be seen how that gets added and whether the new add bumps Rypien down.

4) Kirk Cousins Makes Surprising Move on Tuesday: Odd. Generally speaking, players with a contract issue don’t show up for the voluntary portion of the offseason. Cousins, though, has always been willing to follow his own, unique path.

5) In a Subtle Way, The Vikings May Have Tipped their Hand with a Specific Strategy: The GM seemed to hint that there were two paths in front of him: stay put at No. 24 or move down. The end result was sticking at 24th, opting for the Ohio State guard.
