The P/PTSD Perspective: An Extra $25M in Cap Space, Strange Draft Trade, and Cousins Twist

PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: March 1st, 2025
1) How the Vikings Can Put an Extra $25 Million into the 2025 Cap Space: All kinds of options when it comes to creating more cap space. Of course, there isn’t much of a lack at the current moment, but remember that we’re talking about the NFL: money can disappear fast. Good to have options to create more cap room.

2) Vikings Got a Strange Draft Trade Recommendation: The draft chatter is just getting started. Given Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s history — the man has a reputation for trading — there’s going to be a lot of speculation about what Minnesota will do in late April. Currently, the Vikings own the 24th pick. Does it get moved?
3) The Kirk Cousins Twist Rippling Through the NFL Combine: Does Atlanta really keep the expensive passer in town as a backup? The Falcons’ GM is indicating that there’s a willingness to do so but I’m taking a “seeing is believing” approach.

4) Vikings Have a Dream Target in the Draft: Truth be told, there are plenty of excellent players in the draft. The Vikings’ main needs right now are corner, defensive tackle, guard, running back, and safety but that can change once free agency takes place.
5) Kwesi Teases the End of a Drought: Nobody is going to have a better understanding of the roster’s strengths and weaknesses than Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. The GM is committed to building a perpetual winner and (all things considered) has done a nice job of re-building Minnesota on the fly. Let’s see if he can crush free agency yet again.

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
