PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: November 1st, 2025

1) Apparently, Justin Jefferson was “Livid:” As he should have been. The Vikings weren’t anywhere close to good enough. Accordingly, one of the team’s central leaders — perhaps the central leader — wasn’t pleased. Minnesota needs to match Jefferson’s passion and level of care.

2) It’s Happening for Kirk Cousins: Someday, the rumors are going to end. Those days aren’t coming anytime soon, though. Even if there’s no trade before the NFL’s deadline (November 4th), the Vikings will keep being linked to the controversial passer due to there being seemingly no future between Atlanta and the well-paid quarterback.

3) Expect the Vikings to Sign 1 of 2 QBs: The logic did make sense. In the end, though, the Vikings opted to roll with a different passer: John Wolford. He has a history with Minnesota’s top coaches. Most notably, Wolford won a Super Bowl alongside Kevin O’Connell in LA.

4) Vikings Collapse Overshadowed a Breakout Performance: Put simply, Jalen Redmond is a stud. There’s an argument to be made that the Vikings could have rolled with Harrison Phillips alongside Redmond and been better off than they currently are.

5) A Central Part of the Vikings’ McCarthy Strategy Goes Up in Smoke: The perfect QB2 is capable of doing two things. First, help the starter to prepare, doing a lot of mental work. Second, be capable of jumping into the game whenever needed before playing well. Having that person was deemed crucial for J.J. McCarthy but doesn’t appear very likely at this stage.
