PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: August 16th, 2025

1) Vikings’ Preseason Kickoff Produced 6 Losers: As with any preseason game, there was some good and some bad. One thinks of the quarterback spot as generating a lot of intrigue. Is Max Brosmer now the leader to become Minnesota’s QB3 for 2025?

2) The Vikings Lose a Big Fella as Line Depth Takes a Step Back: Really tough news for Zeke Correll. Truth be told, he was facing long odds to make the final roster, but a spot on the practice squad wasn’t hard to fathom. He’ll now need to get healthy before pursuing his NFL dream down the road.

3) The Season is Over for 2 Vikings: Just brutal news. One thinks of Rondale Moore in particular since the speedy receiver/returner missed all of 2024 due to a serious injury. Would Minnesota be interested in giving him another chance in 2026? If so, then the deal is likely to be even more modest for the talented playmaker.

4) Vikings Win a Rare Waiver Claim: A needed move to make the depth more robust. The Vikings’ offensive line has lost some players to injury, making the waiver claim necessary. Ideally, Minnesota can have a robust roster battle that doesn’t see any more major injuries.

5) 4 Vikings Training Camp Disappointments: Hard to believe, perhaps, but August is now getting relatively close to its end. Later on today, the Patriots will take on the Vikings before Minnesota heads to Tennessee for an August 22nd game. Afterwards, there will be some cuts (Tuesday, August 26th). Can struggling players turn things around to make the final roster?
