PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: November 15th, 2025

1) Vikings Announce 3 Roster Moves: The shuffling is ongoing. Losing Jeff Okudah stings, but Fabian Moreau has been bumped up. Ideally, the team’s play in the secondary won’t experience a drop off. And then from there it’s going to be an emphasis on seeing Mr. Okudah get healthy and back onto the field when health allows him to safely do so.

2) The Vikings’ Missing Piece Might Not Be Missing Much Longer: Someday, the Vikings’ preferred front five may step onto the field at the same time. Doing so would mean giving J.J. McCarthy the best shot possible at success, something that has been hard to pin down early in his still-young NFL career.

3) Vikings Free Agent Target Says “No Thanks:” At the end of the day, there needs to be two to tango. The fit made sense given that only Byron Murphy Jr. and Isaiah Rodgers are reliable corners. One could make the case that Moreau is a reliable CB3, but raising the ceiling rather than shoring up the floor is to be coveted.

4) Kevin O’Connell is Breaking His Quarterback, Not Building Him Up: Kevin O’Connell is a good coach. At times, he has done a poor job of coaching J.J. McCarthy. It wasn’t that long ago, folks, that Vikings fans were super frustrated by Mike Zimmer being so committed to running. Have things shifted too dramatically in the other direction?

5) Apparently, The Vikings were Oh-So-Close to Trading for a Hall of Fame LT1: Someday, Christian Darrisaw is looking to become Trent Williams. Essentially every offensive tackle — especially those who exist on the left side — want to one day be as good as Mr. Williams. Minnesota came very close to landing him via trade.
