How the Vikings WR Room Might Look in 2025

Wide receiver is not at the top of the Minnesota Vikings roster need wishlist this offseason.
How the Vikings WR Room Might Look in 2025
But the spot is still intriguing, mainly because the Vikings have rather rich majesty at wide receiver throughout franchise history.
The club could stand to improve at WR3 in the next few months, so here’s a look at how the 2025 WR room might play out.
Note: This analysis will assume that Minnesota re-signs Brandon Powell, as he has held punt-returning duties for the last two seasons.
1. The Cooper Kupp Option

The Los Angeles Rams will likely cut or trade Cooper Kupp this offseason. Kupp announced that upcoming outcome on social media a couple of weeks ago.
Well, the Vikings have a strong tie to Kupp from Kevin O’Connell’s Rams days, meaning Minnesota can be viewed as a bonafide landing spot for the soon-to-be cast-off.
Kupp in purple isn’t a pipe dream. It could happen.
The Proposed Lay of the Land:
WR1: Justin Jefferson
WR2: Jordan Addison
WR3: Cooper Kupp
WR4: Jalen Nailor
WR5: Brandon Powell
2. The Other FA Option

If not Kupp, other options for the Vikings will be in play during free agency. Men like Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, Brandin Cooks, Tutu Atwell, and Mike Williams, among dozens of others, are scheduled to sniff the open market.
Seeking to improve at WR3, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah would onboard a more productive asset than Nailor.
The Proposed Lay of the Land:
WR1: Justin Jefferson
WR2: Jordan Addison
WR3: Keenan Allen
WR4: Jalen Nailor
WR5: Brandon Powell
3. The Rookie Option

Minnesota has a couple of 5th-Round picks in the draft piggybank that it could spend on a WR3 flyer. Ricky White (UNLV), Kyren Lacy (LSU), Pat Bryant (Illinois), Nick Nash (San Jose State), and Kaden Prather (Maryland) could be mid- to late-round names to watch on draft weekend.
That man would then probably start the season at WR4 behind Nailor.
The Proposed Lay of the Land:
WR1: Justin Jefferson
WR2: Jordan Addison
WR3: Jalen Nailor
WR4: Nick Nash
WR5: Brandon Powell
4. The Do-Nothing Method

Finally — added for full disclosure — Minnesota could do absolutely nothing and showcase a familiar WR corps like this:
The Proposed Lay of the Land:
WR1: Justin Jefferson
WR2: Jordan Addison
WR3: Jalen Nailor
WR4: Brandon Powell
WR5: Jeshaun Jones
It’s also worth noting that Jordan Addison could be suspended to start the 2025 regular season. Remember that as Adofo-Mensah constructs his 2025 depth chart.
