The Minnesota Vikings have four picks in the 2025 NFL Draft 26 days from now and are expected to choose the best player available, courtesy of filling all roster needs in free agency.

General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah embarked on a spending spree in the last month, adding about a dozen new players.

And like many NFL teams, the Vikings have a lot of speed sprinkled atop the roster. This is our annual list of the Vikings’ fastest players, ranked in ascending order (No. 1 = fastest).

5. Ty Chandler (RB)

The beholder of 4.38 speed, Chandler will assume RB3 duties for the 2025 Vikings — if he isn’t released this summer.

Chandler could really catch on as an RB2 around the NFL if he improved his pass blocking.

4. Lucky Jackson (WR)

Jackson joined the Vikings in 2023 from XFL fame. He played 35 snaps in 2023, 32 of which were special teams, and none last season.

In 2020, fresh out of college, Jackson notched a blazing 4.36 forty-yard dash, part of why he clicked so well in the XFL.

The speedster will audition for Minnesota’s active roster this summer and probably latch onto the practice squad if he doesn’t make the 53-man cut-off.

3. Rondale Moore (WR)

Moore ran a 4.28 forty leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft, and as a 2nd-Rounder for the Arizona Cardinals, led many to believe he could be the real deal in the NFL.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo tweeted last week, “WR Rondale Moore is visiting the Titans today, source says. Former second-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals is in the midst of a tour of teams, having met with the Bears, Jets and Vikings as he resets after a knee injury in camp ended his 2024 season with the Falcons.”

Moore met with Minnesota first, embarked on the free-agent expedition with other teams, and ultimately chose the Vikings. The man had options.

He hasn’t taken off to date, and the Vikings will take a flyer on the speed merchant in 2025. He could win the WR3 job over the next guy on the list, settle in as WR4, perform mainly special teams duties, or a hodgepodge of these options.

Remember, though, he’s fast as hell.

2. Jalen Nailor (WR)

For starters, the man’s nickname is Speedy. That should tell the beholder something.

A track star in high school and college, Nailor didn’t rip up the NFL Combine in 2022. He “only” ran a 4.5 forty, probably sinking his draft stock to the Vikings in Round 6. According to him and his teammates, though, he’s one of the fastest players on the team, and some of that speed was showcased down the stretch of the 2022 season. He once ran a 4.39 forty.

Here’s the clip that should teach you about Nailor’s speed, if only as a blocker.

1. Isaiah Rodgers (CB)

Rodgers banked a 4.28 forty, building up to the 2020 NFL Draft, and was eyed for special teams duty during his first NFL stint with the Indianapolis Colts.

He encountered an awful setback in 2023, suspended by the NFL for gambling.

Rodgers turned around and won a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles seven weeks ago and will try on the Vikings for size in 2025. Some websites have already penciled him as the 2025 kick returner. Stay tuned.
