Also, please note: These are opinion-based responses. Some answers will be incorrect from time to time. But we’ll try to keep that to a minimum.

Q: Would you support a Vikings trade for Myles Garett?

Answer: No. Minnesota already has Jonathan Greenard, Andrew Van Ginkel, and Dallas Turner at Garrett’s spot.
Garrett is fantastic — nobody disputes it — but a team only has so many assets, and the Vikings don’t need to upgrade EDGE rusher right now. It’s one roster spot that has been firmly crossed off the list.
The purple team needs cornerbacks, defensive tackles, interior offensive linemen, and a running back or two. Making EDGE the big offseason splash seems backward.
Of course, if Minnesota has an alternate vision, it would be easy to warm up to Garrett. Like really fast. But we don’t see it happening.
Q: Where will Sam Darnold play next year?

Answer: The Raiders noise is probably too loud to ignore.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter named-dropped his top suitor this week: the Raiders. “I think the Raiders are going to make a play for Sam Darnold,” Schefter told a panel on The Pat McAfee Show.
“I think Sam Darnold is a candidate to be the Raiders quarterback. Let’s see if Minnesota lets him go or not. Let’s see if that works out with Darnold winding up in Vegas.”
Since the offseason kicked off, the Raiders have been the odds-on favorite to land Darnold’s services, mainly because Las Vegas’ sixth overall pick isn’t ideal to draft a quarterback this cycle. And the other viable QB option on the Raiders’ roster is Aidan O’Connell, and he’s not all that viable.
It’s also worth noting that Darnold is the type of quarterback that new head coach Pete Carroll could embrace.
Q: What is the Vikings’ deepest roster position right now?

Answer: Outside linebacker.
Here’s the gang:
OLB1: Jonathan Greenard
OLB2: Andrew Van Ginkel
OLB3: Dallas Turner
OLB4: Bo Richter
OLB5: Gabriel Murphy
And Patrick Jones II + Jihad Ward are free agents.
This is, by far, Minnesota’s deepest spot.
