The 2025 NFL Draft is 23 days away, and the Minnesota Vikings are on deck to pick four times after an expensive trade for Dallas Turner in 2024.

Vikings 7-Round Mock Draft | April Edition

So far this offseason, Minnesota has signed Ryan Kelly (C), Will Fries (G), Jonathan Allen (DT), Javon Hargrave (DT), Jordan Mason (RB, trade), Isaiah Rodgers (CB), Jeff Okudah (CB), and Rondale Moore (WR) in free agency in addition to re-upping with Aaron Jones (RB), Byron Murphy Jr. (CB), Theo Jackson (S), and Harrison Smith (S).

So, here’s the best stab at a predictive mock draft — the fourth edition — for the 2025 Vikings after free agency. Version 3.0 can be read here.

Trade!

March 26th, 2025. Minnesota Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah addressed the media from the TCO Performance Center to recap the start of the team’s free agency signings and look ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft. Adofo-Mensah had four picks entering the draft after the 2024 trade for outside linebacker Dallas Turner.

Through two trades down the board with the New York Giants and Denver Broncos, the Vikings accumulate this 2025 draft war chest: picks 51, 65, 85, and 162 (in addition to 97, 139, and 187).

Round 2 | Pick 51
Trey Amos (CB)

College = Ole Miss

Amos’ specialty at Ole Miss? Man coverage.

And in Brian Flores’ defense’s purest form, his cornerbacks should implement precisely that. The Vikings might enjoy free-agent newcomer Isaiah Rodgers more than most believe, but the franchise should still have a young corner in the pipeline.

In this mock, that’s Amos.

Round 3 | Pick 65
Tre Harris (WR)

College = Ole Miss

Jalen Nailor is a passable WR3 in Kevin O’Connell’s offense, but 2025 is his contract’s final year, and the Vikings should eventually improve at the spot next to Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

Harris, at 6’2,” would instantly become Minnesota’s tallest receiver, and his redzone prowess is to die for.

He’s not exceptionally fast, but Minnesota has Addison, Nailor, and Rondale Moore for speed.

Round 3 | Pick 85
Omarr Norman-Lott (DT)

College = Tennessee

ESPN’s Jordan Reid mentioned this week Norman-Lott as a non-Round-1 sleeper to watch for Minnesota.

“After adding Allen and Hargrave in splash-free agent moves, Minnesota could add another pass rush specialist. Norman-Lott played sporadically this season (20 or more snaps in only five out of 13 games), but his hand power and explosiveness were unmatched,” he wrote.

He’d be the perfect young defensive tackle to watch and learn behind Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave.

Round 3 | Pick 97
Charles Grant (iOL)

College = William & Mary

If the 2025 regular season started tomorrow, some combination of Blake Brandel and Michael Jurgens would hold down left guard duties next to Christian Darrisaw.

In this scenario, Grant would enter the mix, too, providing a bit more upside than Brandel and Jurgens.

Round 5 | Pick 139
Bhayshul Tuten (RB)

College = Virginia Tech

Tuten is a mid-to-late-round mock draft darling for many NFL teams because he tips the scales over 200 pounds but also ran a 4.32 forty at the 2025 NFL Combine.

In Minnesota, he’d slide onto the depth chart as RB3, ousting Ty Chandler for the job and biding his time behind Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason for a season.

Like many rookie runners, Tuten’s pass protection will need work.

Round 5 | Pick 162
Jaylen Reed (S)

College = Penn State

Harrison Smith is back, and Theo Jackson received a promotion.

But Smith won’t play forever, while Camryn Bynum joined the Indianapolis Colts three weeks ago. Minnesota takes a Round 5 flyer on Reed from Penn State, who will battle Jay Ward for playing time in 2025.

He also possesses position flexibility that Flores will enjoy.

Round 6 | Pick 187
Nick Martin (LB)

College = Oklahoma State

Martin is similar to Ivan Pace Jr. — slightly small as an off-ball linebacker but internalizing a lion’s heart.

He can be utilized as a pass rusher and drop into coverage. Martin will only fall down draftboards due to size at 6’0″ and 220 pounds.

With Brian Asamoah’s time in Minnesota winding down, Martin is the new youth movement at linebacker, at least the 6th-Round version.
