On a day when the Vikings offense finally fully clicked, Jordan Addison reminded people that he told the world that he and Jefferson would be the best wide receiver duo in the league.
Jefferson reinforced the point.
Addison also had plenty of praise for Sam Darnold, who became the first Vikings quarterback to throw five touchdowns in a game since Daunte Culpepper in 2004.
The Vikings trio combined for 265 yards and five touchdowns in an incredible offensive display.
Byron Murphy wants everyone to start talking about the Vikings. Talking to Tom Pelissero on the field post-game, Murphy spoke of his league-leading sixth interception among cornerbacks, the joys of watching Darnold, Jefferson, and Addison do their work, and being tired of people only talking about the Lions.

O’Connell’s QB whisperer status has risen to new levels with Darnold’s success this season. O’Connell himself does nothing but praise Darnold.
The Vikings head coach’s post-game locker room speeches are becoming the stuff of legend. In this latest addition, O’Connell is clearly rallying the troops for a Super Bowl push.
Former NFL safety and current ESPN broadcaster Louis Riddick called Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell the coach of the year. There should be no doubt that he is in the running.
Reactions from the Media
The NFL X account was enjoying the Vikings’ first interception celebrations. The Vikings’ defense has become infamous for its choreographed celebrations, and there have been plenty of opportunities to showcase them this season.
Pro Football Talk hailed Darnold’s almost-perfect game, just 0.4 points shy of the perfect passer rating. It was the 11th time this season that Darnold achieved a passer rating of 100+, setting a single-season franchise record.
Ben Leber, former Vikings LB and broadcaster with KFAN and the Vikings, wants Darnold in the MVP conversation following his latest performance.
It was an incredible night for the Vikings offense, particularly Darnold, who will likely be mentioned in the MVP conversation by many this week.
