The Vikings did it again. On the road in a tough environment in Seattle, Minnesota chalked up win number 13. Here is a selection of Vikings players’ reactions to win in Seattle as Minnesota moved to 13-2.

Vikings Players’ Reactions to Win in Seattle

Sam Darnold enjoys leading a 13-win team and playing with the best player on the planet.

Former Vikings wide receiver Jake Reed was also on X, proclaiming that Justin Jefferson was the best in the game after his 10 catches, 144 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Vikings special teams ace Trent Sherfield took to X post-game to share his excitement.

The Vikings’ defense prides themselves on the turnover celebrations led by head choreographer Camryn Bynum. They must keep coming up with new ideas, as two more interceptions on Sunday increased their lead at the top of the team interception rankings. Theo Jackson’s game-sealing grab was the Vikings’ 22nd INT of the season.

The Vikings delivered the Camp Rock dance celebration, which not only received praise from the star of the movies, Nick Jonas, but was also followed by his apparent friend, Vikings CB Dwight McGlothern, who invited Jonas to a Vikings game.

It has been a difficult year personally for Vikings first-round rookie quarterback JJ McCarthy, who has had to wait on the sidelines while he recovers from his knee injury. However, he is always ready to praise his teammates’ success.

The Vikings post-game locker room speech includes Kevin O’Connell giving out game balls to players who have had big impacts on the game or reached milestones. It was the Vikings head coach’s turn on Sunday.

As O’Connell thought he was wrapping things up, veteran lineman Brian O’Neill spoke up to hand the head coach a game ball, recognizing his becoming the first Vikings head coach to win 13 games in a season twice. This feat has been achieved in just three seasons — Dennis Green (15 wins) and Mike Zimmer achieved the landmark once each.

Former quarterback and NBC analyst Chris Simms called the Vikings the most disrespected 13-2 team he’s ever seen and asked when people will truly start to believe Sam Darnold can take his team all the way.

It’s an interesting question. I find myself not getting too carried away with the Vikings’ Super Bowl credentials due to my preconceived notions of the ceiling of both Darnold and this Vikings team. Perhaps it is time we all started believing in positive results over the next two weeks, and it certainly will be.
