VikingsTerritory asked a handful of Vikings fans for a prediction of Sunday’s game between Minnesota and the New York Jets in London.

The fans have spoken.

The Vikings narrowly beat the Green Bay Packers last weekend, downing Matt LaFleur’s team 31-29 after hopping out to a 28-0 2nd Quarter lead. Minnesota, indeed, survived and advanced.

This weekend, the Vikings travel to London for a date with Aaron Rodgers’ New York Jets, likely the final time they will see Rodgers on a football field.

Vikings fans predict the Vikings will win their fifth game of the season.

Fans handily chose the Vikings, evidently content with the state of play in Minnesota. Beating the 49ers, Texans, and Packers will do that.

CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco picked a Jets win this week, 19-16. “The Vikings are undefeated and Sam Darnold is playing at an MVP level. But facing this Jets defense will be a real challenge,” Prisco wrote this week as the NFL entered Week 5.

“The Jets offense was lifeless last week in the loss to Denver, and Aaron Rodgers will face a tough test from Minnesota’s attacking defense. His line had issues last week and will again here. It’s close but low scoring as the Jets take it behind their defense.”

Vikings fan Bruce Johnson again mentioned he is only predicting the Jets because he has picked against the Vikings each week — and they keep winning when he does so. Why mess up a good thing? It’s a bit.

The Vikings are favored to prevail by 2.5 points against the Jets. Minnesota has never lost a game overseas, 4-0 in the last four decades in regular season + exhibition games.

The Vikings are the NFL’s seventh-best team per win percentage since Kevin O’Connell took over in 2022. The Jets have won eight of 12 games in series history against Minnesota.
