The Vikings-Texans Score Prediction ๐ (Fans)
The fans have spoken.
The Vikings shocked the San Francisco 49ers last weekend, winning 23-17 over a team many pundits picked to reach the Super Bowl in February. Minnesota has now upset San Francisco in back-to-back seasons.
This weekend, the Vikings host the Texans, a 2-0 club, so it’s a battle of unbeateans.
Vikings fans predict the Vikings will win their third game of the season.
Fans handily chose the Vikings, evidently content with the state of play in Minnesota. Beating the 49ers will do that.

CBS Sports’ Garrett Podell picked a Vikings upset, too, this week. “[The Vikings] drafted Alabama All-America edge rusher Dallas Turner 17th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, and they signed Houston Texans 2023 sacks leader Jonathan Greenard (12.5) and veteran edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel (two sacks and one pick six in 2024) after the departure of four-time Pro Bowler Danielle Hunter to the Texans in free agency,” he wrote.
“Sam Darnold’s improved play buoyed by quality offensive line play, Pro Bowl running back Aaron Jones and 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Justin Jefferson are enough as the Vikings defense overruns the Texans’ offensive line.”
The Texans are favored to prevail by 1.5 points against the Vikings. Minnesota is a home underdog in back-to-back weeks.
The Vikings haven’t started a season 3-0 since 2016.
