But such is not the case for everybody, and the franchise has eight home games in 2024. There are actually nine, but one “home game” is in London, and that’s probably the most expensive game for Americans to attend.
And if you’d like to attend a Vikings game this year on a budget, the most affordable options are threefold. These are those.
3. Most Affordable Away Game
at Jaguars
Depending on one’s location in the United States, airfare to Florida is usually affordable compared to other destinations, especially to Jacksonville and Orlando. Flights from Minneapolis to Jacksonville are about $300 per person as of late May, per Google Flights.
Tickets for the Vikings at Jaguars game on November 10th start around $75, including fees. If you want to see a road Vikings game in 2024, Jacksonville is the most affordable venue.
2. Second-Most Affordable Home Game
vs. Colts
The Colts employ a pretty sweet quarterback, but tickets for the Vikings vs. Colts game on November 3rd at U.S. Bank Stadium aren’t that coveted. Tickets for two people start at around $85 per person (with fees factored in).
Of course, this is the Colts’ first trip back to Minnesota following its epic meltdown in December 2022. The cast is totally different, including a new head coach and quarterback. But for some reason, the prices for the Colts showdown just aren’t that high in late May.
1. Most Affordable Home Game
vs. Cardinals
The Cardinals are low on NFL pundits’ totem poles this offseason, mainly because 2023 was spent vacillating between Joshua Dobbs and Kyler Murray at quarterback. Because of Murray’s 2022 injury, 2023 turned into a lost season, at least per playoff contention.
Accordingly, Vikings-Cardinals at U.S. Bank Stadium, is not a hot ticket, making it relatively cheap for ticket seekers. Folks can grab tickets to the Cardinals game for about $80 a pop.
A little-known storyline: several members of the Cardinals coaching staff, including head coach Jonathan Gannon, came up in Minnesota under Mike Zimmer. That’s not a huge storyline, but hardcore fans will notice the connections.
