The 2024 NFL Draft is 8.5 weeks away, and the Minnesota Vikings are scheduled to pick 11th if they don’t trade up or down the board.

The NFL Combine Starts Tuesday | Here’s Who Will Be There

Minnesota hasn’t chosen this high since 2015, when the franchise made cornerback Trae Waynes the pick at No. 11.

The NFL Combine kicks off on Tuesday, an event that truly shapes the draftboard. Minnesota has a few roster needs this offseason, including quarterback, defensive line, and perhaps running back and cornerback.

So, if you’re keeping tabs on this year’s Combine, these men will be there.

Quarterbacks

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports.

The granddaddy of them all for the 2024 Vikings, with or without Kirk Cousins on the team next season, Minnesota probably needs to draft a quarterback this go-round early in the event.

Running Backs

Nick Wosika-USA TODAY Sports.

The Vikings might need a running back, as well, if they don’t have faith in Ty Chandler as a solution and don’t sign one in free agency.

Wide Receivers

Jason Parkhurst-USA TODAY Sports.

From free agency or this draft, Minnesota needs a WR3:

Tight Ends

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports.

Vikings tight end T.J. Hockeson may not be ready for the start of 2024, which is a factoid to monitor here.

Offensive Linemen

Andrew Dieb-USA TODAY Sports.

Minnesota will need reservist linemen this offseason, and plenty are available in the draft.

Defensive Linemen

Aaron E. Martinez-USA TODAY Sports

Next to quarterback, defensive line is Minnesota’s most important offseason need.

Linebackers

Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports.

Jordan Hicks is a free agent, and unless he returns or Brian Asamoah is promoted, the Vikings need an off-ball linebacker.

Defensive Backs

Lon Horwedel-USA TODAY Sports

Some Vikings fans believe cornerback remains a roster need, so this field should be monitored, too.

Special Teams

If the Vikings move on from Greg Joseph, the team’s next kicker could be on this list:
