PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: July 6th, 2024

1) Adam Thielen Gives Verdict on Minnesota’s New QB: Adam Thielen’s words are going to carry a lot of weight in Minnesota. The hometown kid still has a legendary status. His recent workouts with J.J. McCarthy certainly picked up a lot of attention.

2) Vikings’ Backup Defender is Turning Heads: Theo Jackson is going to be part of some winning football. Don’t be surprised if he ends up playing a larger role than he did last season. One wonders if he’ll eventually replace Camryn Bynum in 2025, someone who will have a bit of a tricky extension negotiation.

3) Vikings’ Rookie is Flying Under the Radar: The GM is a fan of the young corner. Will Brian Flores lean on him early? Khyree Jackson has the kind of size and length that can’t be taught. We’ll see if that leads to some reps in Year 1.

4) Report: Vikings Plan to Re-Sign Running Back: Still waiting on this to firm up. The Vikings could use extra depth at running back, but the news has yet to get across the finish line. Any chance Minnesota would pivot toward Dalvin Cook?

5) The Vikings’ Option Buried at the Back of the Justin Jefferson Deal: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah is always looking to protect the team. The final couple seasons of the Jefferson deal feature some massive cap charges but also some massive cap savings if a cut is needed. Ideally, there’s yet another extension so Jefferson finishes his career as a Viking.
