PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: November 23rd, 2024

1) Vikings Bench a Starter: At long last, Ed Ingram got demoted. What does the future hold for the RG2? Minnesota is going to be moving ahead with Dalton Risner as the starter at right guard. In a perfect world, Risner will grow more comfortable with more reps, keeping Sam Darnold cleaner in the process.

2) If the Number is Accurate, The Vikings are Careening Toward a Breakup with Key Playmaker: Paying Camryn Bynum $16 million per season isn’t happening. Or, at least, it isn’t happening in Minnesota. The safety can play ball, no doubt, but the trend for Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has been to go cheap at safety.

3) Vikings Playmaker Picks Up an Injury Just as He Has Been Hitting His Groove: Tough break for Josh Oliver. The TE2 is an excellent blocker and has some upside as a pass catcher. Ideally, the ankle injury won’t last for too long. Getting him in the lineup is key for both the run and the pass.

4) Vikings Veteran Sees Playing Time Slip as Young DT Makes His Case for More Snaps: Jerry Tillery has been a minor disappointment. In theory, Tillery should be offering some pass rushing from the 3T/5T spot. Instead, he has been a bit quiet. Does a young defensive tackle need more snaps?

5) Vikings Pass Rush May Soon Get an Addition: The UDFA rookie looks like he’s back to full health. Or, at the very least, getting very close. Maybe he gets folded into what is already an impressive group of edge rushers as Minnesota moves into the season’s final stretch.
