The P/PTSD Perspective: Rookie’s Debut, Romo’s New Home, and Changing the Starting Lineup
PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: December 14th, 2024
1) Vikings Rookie is Set to Make his NFL Debut on Sunday: Patrick Jones wasn’t able to play, so Minnesota ended up turning to Gabriel Murphy. The UDFA edge rusher has spent a ton of time on the IR but has recently gotten healthy. He did a pretty good job on Sunday, so maybe he’ll earn some more snaps before 2024 ends.
2) Parker Romo Finds New Home: Good for him. The kicker was originally part of the Vikings’ roster during the summer months when the special teams battle was ongoing. He then did an admirable job of filling in for starter Will Reichard once the rookie K1 needed some time off to heal a quad injury. Wish Romo nothing but the best.
3) Vikings Change Starting Lineup on Defense: At long last, Jalen Redmond got his shot in the starting lineup. More importantly, the guy made plays when he was in there. The defensive tackle fills a position of need and continues to demonstrate potential. Give him snaps.
4) K.J. Osborn Joins Team in the NFC Playoff Picture: Good for Osborn. The hope is that the reliable receiver will find a home where he can settle in and make a difference. In the right system, Osborn is a solid WR3/4 who can help a team win.
5) Thursday’s Game is Worth Watching for Vikings Fans: The TNF game came and went … but Minnesota didn’t get the help it was looking for. Instead, the onus shifts over to the team itself to get the job done. Simply beat the Bears on Monday Night Football and be assured of a playoff spot.
Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
