PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.

The P/PTSD Perspective: November 16th, 2024

1) In Week 10, the Vikings Could be Forced to Pull the Ripcord: The thinking was simply that Dalton Risner was healthy and Minnesota was facing a defensive front with some talent. In the end, the Vikings opted against inserting the backup right guard into the lineup. Does that change at any point in 2024?

2) A “Crazy” Vikings QB Theory Gets Ignited by National NFL Analyst: Not happening. Minnesota is going to move forward with Sam Darnold. An injury could undermine that reality, but Mr. Darnold has proven to be durable. Things would need to get very, very bad to see the QB1 benched.

3) Very Sneakily, The Vikings’ GM Has Begun Replenishing a Position of Need: The defensive tackle spot finds itself in an interesting spot. Soaking up the most snaps are veterans: Harrison Phillips, Jonathan Bullard, and Jerry Tillery. Behind those three, though, are a trio of youngsters: Jalen Redmond, Taki Taimani, and Levi Drake Rodriguez.

4) There’s an Aaron Jones Update: Things are looking good for the playmaker. No doubt, the veteran runner has made a massive difference for the Vikings. Having him in the backfield makes life a whole lot easier for Sam Darnold, Justin Jefferson, Kevin O’Connell, and everyone else who is trying to make the offense go.

5) Converted Ex-Viking Joins Seahawks: In a perfect world, N’Keal Harry will find a more permanent NFL home and start living up to his 1st-Round draft spot. There’s talent present and no coach can teach that kind of size. Toss in some ability to play both wide receiver and tight end. Maybe Seattle ends up working out for Harry.
